AMAZING “NOT NORMAL” FAMILY FROM BOWLING GREEN, KENTUCKY COMES TO VISIT THE LORD’S MISSION CENTRAL!

On June 15th, 2021, it was one of those “special days”.  We had the honor and privilege of welcoming two very, very, special people to our humble Lord’s Mission Central.

Now, why would someone like the Honorable Rev. Dr. Mark Press and his dear wife Connie come to the hills of western Iowa from Bowling Green, Kentucky to spend some time here?

With a background like Rev. Dr. Mark Press, who had the privilege of serving 7 congregations over his years, having served as Director of the famous Hoffmann Institute for 8 years, and the last four years at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church at Bowling Green, Kentucky and is still so active and serving there at the present time!

With having attended his college years at Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska, a Master of Divinity Degree from Fort Wayne, Seminary AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF A PHD IN MISSIOLOGY AND CHURCH PLANTING FROM CONCORDIA SEMINARY AT FORT WAYNE  ALSO!

Connie’s mom and dad were from the Council Bluffs, Iowa area, and were good friends of old Missionary Gary…and Connie has a sister and her family at Denison, Iowa…

What a blessing to have them stop to see the Lord’s Creation Theater, that they had not seen before and to visit their old friend, Missionary Gary.  Here you see this NOT NORMAL couple in front of our Boss here in the office!  It was a time we won’t forget!  What dear and special friends!!!
