AMAZING NEW ITEM ARRIVES FROM THE PHILIPPINES FOR DISPLAY IN THE LORD’S BARN MUSEUM AT MISSION CENTRAL!

WHAT IS a Flagallante whip   The Philippine Catholics (men who chose to do so) still practice this on Good Friday, hoping to atone for their sins.  The Church doesn’t condone this practice which has been going on for years.  Some make a vow to God to become a Flagellante after some event in their lives.  The whip was used by one of these men.  One of our Filipino church members in greater Manila lived on a street that the Flagellantes walked down on their way to the Ocean.  Often missionaries went there to observe this bloody but cultural practice.

Today in the mail, here at the Lord’s Mission Central, our dear friends, former missionaries to the Philippines, the Honorable Missionaries Rev. James P. Johnson and his wife Becky from Santa Barbara, California, sent us something VERY NOT NORMAL for our Barn Museum.

YES, YES, we now have a real “Flagallante Whip” from the Philippines.  Pictured here is the authentic “Flagallante Whip”  that is on display in our Philippine section of our Barn Museum.  This was used to whip themselves to suffer for their sins and it could be a very, very bloody experience!  See some of the pictures of the whip and some photos of people that are actually using this whip!!!

We have things in the BARN MUSEUM at Mission Central that NO ONE has ever seen before!  It’s a NOT NORMAL addition to the Lord’s Collection here at this NOT NORMAL PLACE!
