Happy Independence Day!
Thoughts of fireworks and fruits of summer fill us with joy for the freedoms that we celebrate with friends and family at this time of year. We recently returned from the USA where we celebrated the wedding of our daughter, Annie to a wonderful CT man named Johnny. It was complete with a “sparkler” send off as they begin their life in God’s promises together. As we return to the momentum of the mission field, we have recently witnessed 27 Iranian refugee baptisms. Over the next several months, more will be baptized and join us in a Christ centered life that rescues and redeems. These times are special and cherished. However, our typical work consists of relationship building with the refugees such that they can trust us and count on us in the “daily grind” of legal, medical, language courses & housing appts. Thanks be to God for every provision in His Word with continuing opportunities for Bible study and summer social time too!
May God’s abundant grace, peace and mercy be with you as you read and share the latest news of mission life in Saxony.
